Artificial Sunshine
The Argory is renowned for its innovative country house technologies, each designed to make life more comfortable or tasks simpler. Among the most significant are its acetylene gas light fittings, a rare surviving example of early domestic lighting systems.
We took the opportunity to commission a neon artwork and hang it in place of the west hall light fitting, during its removal for conservation.
I led the successful delivery of the project, creating an effective interface between the Project Team and internal stakeholders, including the Project Board and Programme Director. The project was delivered on time, under budget, and with extremely positive feedback.
